So many great creations!  My favorite is the Kali statue from the Golden Voyage of Simbad.

Tough call, but off the top of my head I'll go with the Rhedosaurus.

RIP Ray Harryhausen, A great Inspirational Soul, always like to collect the movies he worked on on VHS tapes, and I still yet to buy a few more. Many reasons why I like to draw weird Monsters, Mythological Beings, and Dinosaurs when I was Young, and I probably still do Today. "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" is Still My Favorite.

Very great man, and by most accounts a genuinely nice person. I never met him, so I can't really say, but every single interview I've seen of his shows a very happy, humble man.

The poor ol' Ymir. Such a fantastic arrange of emotions (he's without a doubt the most realistic actor in the film!).

Mighty Joe Young. King Kong is not a Harryhausen creation.

Ray Harryhausen actually worked on the original King Kong stop-motion.

:icondinohunter2:

No, he didn't. Ray was 13 years old when the original King Kong came out and seeing it for the first time in theaters was one of his major inspirations.
